The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, in collaboration with the Saudi Chambers Federation and the National Industrial Committee, organized a workshop titled “Industrial Sector Enablers” to support factories and enhance the industrial foundations in the Kingdom. During the workshop, ways to promote innovation and efficiency within the Saudi industrial sector were discussed, with a focus on achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The importance of providing specialized training programs under the supervision of relevant authorities was emphasized to improve the skills and competitive capabilities of the national workforce. The workshop focused on providing support to factories through field visits to assess the needs of the industrial sector and achieve its development goals. It also supported the “Industrial Sector Competitiveness” and “Factories of the Future” programs. The workshop was attended by His Excellency Eng.Khalil Bin Salma -Deputy Minister for Industry Affairs, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Sheikh- Chairman of the Industrial and Energy Committee at the Eastern Chamber, and Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Ahmadi- Undersecretary for Strategies and Industrial Sectors at the Ministry. This workshop contributes to strengthening collaboration between government entities and the private sector, with the aim of empowering local industry and increasing its competitiveness in line with the Kingdom’s sustainable development aspirations.
